Motrec - Motrec E-250 -
The Motrec E-250 four wheel electric personnel carrier is powered by a 6.0 hp 24 volt motor and develops a top speed of 10 mph. Often used as a tow vehicle, it can handle a 5,000 lb. towed load when equipped with the 6 mph speed reduction option. The four wheel configuration gives added stability for use on uneven or rough surfaces.
The E-250 is solidly built of 14 gauge diamond plate steel and high strength tubular steel frame with bolt-on bumpers. Although it is a 4 - wheel vehicle, it has the maneuverability of a 3 - wheel unit due to its exclusive steering design. Low maintenance is guaranteed by a rugged automotive differential and large self-adjusting drum brakes.
