Star EV - Star EV 48U-02 NEV -
The Star 48U-02 is a high speed burden carrier designed for a variety of industrial and municipal maintenance tasks. Its 2,200 lb. load capacity provides the ability to haul heavy loads, while its high speed and large diameter smooth riding tires make it ideal for outdoor operation.
A four speed transmission provides the gearing necessary for heavy hauling in hilly environments and towing. Standard equipment includes items that are optional at additional cost on competitive brands, such as a hitch receiver, front and rear bumpers, speedometer, odometer, headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, mirrors, reverse alarm, seat belts and safety charger interlock.
The Star BN48-4P NEV version conforms to NHTSA CFR Title 49 – 571.500, Low Speed Vehicle Regulations and is licensable as such in 45 states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia
An optional all weather cab and heater/defroster expands the applications for the Star 48U-02 and makes it perfectly suited for college campus maintenance operations.
